Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
konicke lands a glancing blow to the side of Stevens's head.
Stevens looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The fight stays on the outside here - Stevens looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Stevens has a takedown stuffed.
konicke throws a nice inside leg kick.
Stevens walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
konicke listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Stevens gets caught flat footed, as konicke shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
konicke postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

konicke is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
konicke moves into full mount! Stevens won't be happy about that!
konicke has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Stevens is in all sorts of trouble here.

konicke's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
The referee stands the fighters back up. james konicke just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
konicke moves into range and clinches up with Stevens.

konicke jumps guard and drags Stevens to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
konicke lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Stevens!
konicke takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
konicke has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stevens wants to hold on but konicke pushes him away.

konicke tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
konicke wants to control the pace but Stevens is squirming around nicely.
The referee stands the fighters back up. james konicke just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Stevens takes one to the chin there.
konicke scores with a three punch combo!
konicke stalks Stevens and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Stevens's face. Stevens staggers backwards, shaken.
konicke moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
konicke throws a one two combo.
konicke has managed to clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
konicke escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
konicke scores with a nice head shot.
konicke bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Stevens's head.
konicke lands a high kick!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
konicke has taken the fight to the clinch.
konicke breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
konicke lands a jab.
konicke tests Stevens's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Stevens is rocked!
konicke throws an overhand right that has Stevens reeling! konicke follows up with more punches and Stevens is out cold! This one is all over!
