Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Williams Delaney (ranked 7630 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Haus (ranked 4574 p4p, 528 weight class). Martin Haus has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Williams Delaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Martin Haus! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Delaney fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Haus to the ground. Delaney is now in Haus's guard. Haus controlling Delaney's posture. Haus's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Haus looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Haus wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Delaney would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Haus controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Haus preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Haus wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Delaney slips a jab and a cross from Haus.
That's one minute gone in the round. Delaney closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Haus did well to prevent Delaney getting side control. Delaney tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Haus. Delaney missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Haus gets back to full guard.
Delaney wants to stand and escape but instead Haus has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Delaney can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Haus controls the pace. Delaney is looking to stand up but Haus isn't so interested in that idea. Delaney tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delaney is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Haus is controlling him. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Haus working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Haus trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Haus prevents Delaney from getting back to his feet. Haus sitting in guard, not really doing much. Delaney is trying to keep Haus in close.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Delaney could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Haus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Delaney closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Haus kicks Delaney off and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delaney slips a jab and a cross from Haus.
Delaney lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Haus wants to clinch. Delaney gets a double leg takedown into Haus's guard. Haus kicks Delaney off and gets to his feet. Haus misses with a wild body shot. Haus misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Haus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Delaney to score an easy takedown into full guard. Haus pushes Delaney off and scrambles back to his feet.
Delaney is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Delaney circles away from the clinch attempt.
A left lands for Haus. Haus rushes Delaney and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Delaney lands an elbow just above Haus 's eye. Delaney lands a right hand. Delaney prevents a takedown attempt there.
Delaney wants to break the clinch but can't.
Delaney working some nice short punches in the clinch. Delaney lands a shoulder strike. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Haus dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Delaney leaves Haus with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Delaney gets the takedown into side control. Haus throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Haus throws a right and a left that Delaney avoids nicely. Delaney fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Haus sprawls well initially but Delaney persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Haus kicks off Delaney and gets to his feet. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Delaney shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Haus's guard. Haus pushes Delaney off and scrambles back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round. Delaney throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Haus blocks it with crossed arms. Delaney misses with the head strike.

Delaney lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Delaney swings wildly with an uppercut but Haus uses good head movement to avoid it. Delaney is defending well against a takedown attempt. A head punch blocked on the inside by Haus. Delaney misses with the head strike.

Delaney has picked Haus up - he's going for a ride! Delaney dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Haus makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Delaney shoots in and bounces Haus off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Haus kicks Delaney off and gets to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Delaney closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Haus did well to prevent Delaney getting side control. Haus has one foot on Delaney's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Haus moves into the clinch. Haus is fighting off a takedown attempt but Delaney is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Haus to the mat. Haus regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Haus manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Haus turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Delaney might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Haus is putting a hurting on Delaney here, landing some big shots from side control. Haus takes a little break here. Delaney wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Haus working away. A lull in the action here. Haus lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Delaney down.
Haus moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Delaney is trying to get back to half guard. Haus remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Haus working the body and head with strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Delaney seems a little lost for a moment, as Haus dominates the positioning. Delaney taking punishment in the form of punches.
Haus is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Delaney knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Haus is chipping away with strikes.

Martin Haus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Delaney is trying to control Haus's posture but Haus avoids it. Haus has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Haus lands a decent elbow from side control. Delaney throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Haus working the ground and pound. Haus lands some shots froms side control. Delaney being controlled for a moment. Haus tries for a kimura but Delaney is defending well. Haus controlling from side mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Haus has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Haus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Delaney struggling a bit here. Delaney wants to get back to his feet. Haus scoring with punches and elbows. Haus taking a breather here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Haus scores with punches from side control. Haus prevents Delaney from escaping the position. Haus controls the position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
And that's the end of the fight! Martin Haus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Haus winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
