Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Warren Hawke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, William McDougal!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawke connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Nice sprawl there from Hawke as McDougal shoots in.
A solid leg kick lands there for Hawke.
Hawke changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Hawke closes the distance and clinches.
Hawke lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Hawke manages to break the clinch.
Hawke lands a jab to the head.
Warren Hawke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hawke fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and McDougal has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Hawke has been working on his boxing with his coaches at FIERCE in the buildup to the fight.
Hawke slaps away a takedown attempt from McDougal, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Hawke showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McDougal.
McDougal on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
McDougal has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Warren Hawke has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of William McDougal.

Hawke instigates a clinch.

Hawke manages to break the clinch.
McDougal closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Hawke moves into range and clinches up with McDougal.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hawke lands a right hand.

Hawke breaks the clinch.
A lazy left from Hawke finds it's target.
McDougal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Decent striking displayed by Hawke there.


McDougal is rocked!
Hawke bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps McDougal's head backwards.
McDougal is still on wobbly legs! Can Hawke finish him?
McDougal takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Hawke moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
McDougal seems to have recovered his senses.

McDougal pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hawke lands with a thumping leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
McDougal moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Hawke gets a clinch.
McDougal tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee calls for Hawke to work.
Hawke is pressed up against the cage. McDougal has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hawke down to the mat. Hawke avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hawke throws a nice inside leg kick.

Hawke instigates a clinch.
McDougal's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.
Hawke lands a left hand that snaps the head of McDougal backwards.
Hawke lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Hawke lands a right hand that snaps the head of McDougal backwards.
McDougal goes for a takedown in the clinch but Hawke prevents it.
Hawke lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down McDougal.
McDougal's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
McDougal has had enough of the clinch but Hawke keeps him there for the moment.
A right hook to the body lands for Hawke.
McDougal looks winded!
Hawke throws a blind hook that connects with the side of McDougals head.
Hawke working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Hawke breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hawke circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops McDougal to the canvas! McDougal doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Hawke keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Warren Hawke!
