Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thomas Wid!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zenon Dark!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dark fails to land the takedown.
Dark closes the distance but Wid moves to the side
and Wid cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wid loads up on a big right hand but Dark slips the punch.
Dark fails with a takedown attempt.
Some bone on bone action there as Dark checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Wid paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Dark tries for a takedown but Wid circles away easily
and Wid counters with a nice uppercut.
Thomas Wid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Zenon Dark.
Dark uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wid.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dark moves in looking to clinch but Wid pushes him off.
Wid is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dark.
Wid misses with an uppercut.
Dark doesn't manage to clinch there - Wid circles away.
Wid throws a low kick but Dark moves out of range easily.
Wid throws the left hand but Dark avoids the punch easily.

Wid waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dark.
Wid looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Wid takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Dark looks winded!
Wid is nestled in close to Dark, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Wid drops an elbow to the side of Dark's head.
Wid keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Wid working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Wid lands with a punch from half guard.
Wid takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Dark wants to control but Wid is keeping busy.
Wid is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wid slips a nice elbow through Dark's hands, connecting with Dark's forehead.
Wid controlling the action here.
Wid uses his free foot to push down on Dark's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dark.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wid has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Dark's face.
Wid working for a submission but Dark is keeping him at bay.

Wid is landing with some decent strikes but Dark is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wid closes the distance looking for a takedown. Dark stuffs it but Wid still has hold of him. Wid picks Dark up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Wid slams Dark to the floor and that's really hurt Dark - he doesn't know where he is! Wid throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
