Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Stewart (ranked 24759 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big J Oakerson (ranked 7341 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Stewart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Big J Oakerson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewart scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Stewart lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
A shot to the liver by Stewart. Beautiful body shot. A jab from Oakerson misses. Stewart misses with a body kick. Stewart pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stewart scores with a decent looking hook. Oakerson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oakerson just misses with a punch to the body.
Oakerson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Oakerson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Stewart with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oakerson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stewart is just riding it out for now. Oakerson eventually gives up the hold. Oakerson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stewart knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oakerson slows the pace down in half guard. Oakerson wants to free his trapped foot but Stewart is holding on for dear life with his legs. Oakerson sitting and controlling from the half guard. Stewart is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Stewart might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Stewart is trying to maintain the position but Oakerson is very close to passing his half guard. Stewart is looking to escape. Stewart keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stewart connects with a leg kick. Oakerson looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Stewart throws a series of punches but Oakerson avoids them all with ease.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stewart pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Stewart throws a series of strikes that have Oakerson backpedaling.
It looks like Big J Oakerson has been cut. Oakerson gets a clinch. Oakerson fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Oakerson misses with a hook from the clinch. Oakerson jumps guard but Stewart stands there with Oakerson around his waist. Oakerson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Stewart scores with a knee to the head.
A short body shot lands from Stewart as the two fighters clinch.
Stewart utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Oakerson looks winded! Oakerson looking for a takedown. Ricardo Stewart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big J Oakerson. Stewart misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Stewart keeps control of Oakerson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Stewart pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stewart with a body punch. A glancing blow. Oakerson is looking to clinch. Stewart throws a big counter combination but Oakerson scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Ricardo Stewart is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Stewart looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Oakerson feints the counter takedown. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stewart scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Stewart goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Oakerson shoots for a takedown but Stewart saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Stewart throws a sloppy head kick and Oakerson moves out of range easily. Stewart throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Oakerson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stewart throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Stewart lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Oakerson darts in looking for a takedown but Stewart gets double underhooks and turns Oakerson into the cage. Stewart seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricardo Stewart dominated that round. The cut man is working on Big J Oakerson's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Oakerson avoids the body shot from Stewart.
Stewart sets himself, and Oakerson steps forward looking for the clinch! Stewart avoids it this time. A chopping leg kick lands by Stewart. A solid leg kick lands there for Stewart.
Oakerson has taken the fight to the clinch.
Stewart misses with a short punch on the inside. Stewart tries to throw a body punch but Oakerson avoids it by throwing Stewart back against the cage. Stewart tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Oakerson avoids it. Oakerson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stewart blocks a head kick by Oakerson.
Nice sprawl there from Stewart as Oakerson shoots in. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oakerson closes the distance and clinches up with Stewart, looking for a takedown. Oakerson pushes Stewart against the cage but Stewart circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ricardo Stewart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stewart defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Oakerson. Ricardo Stewart has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Big J Oakerson. Stewart darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Oakerson is breathing heavily. Oakerson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stewart. Stewart half committed to a counter leg kick. Oakerson closes the distance and clinches up with Stewart, looking for a takedown. Oakerson pushes Stewart against the cage but Stewart circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stewart misses with a double jab.
Oakerson only half commits to the counter leg kick. Stewart connects with a good right hand that stumbles Oakerson. Oakerson circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Ricardo Stewart is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stewart lands with a shot to the body. Stewart throws a head kick that misses. Stewart lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Stewart scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Oakerson doesn't seem bothered though. We've been told by Stewart's head coaches at Bi-Polar Asylum LV's #1 Public Training Center that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Stewart lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Oakerson falls backwards - clearly groggy! Stewart dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
