Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Petr Kotrc (ranked 7129 p4p, 293 weight class) and Baka Vizsla (ranked 8040 p4p, 312 weight class). Vizsla is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Bodak Yellow by Cardi B.. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Baka Vizsla!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotrc slips a jab and a cross from Vizsla.
Kotrc really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Kotrc goes for a double leg but Vizsla avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vizsla continues to drive forward.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petr Kotrc. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kotrc moves into the clinch.
Vizsla pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vizsla shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kotrc napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kotrc explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Kotrc counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Vizsla thinking.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Kotrc lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Vizsla throws an elbow but it misses.

Kotrc breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Kotrc jumps guard and drags Vizsla to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Kotrc escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Vizsla gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vizsla slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Vizsla gets to his feet - Kotrc follows without any prompting.

Kotrc definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Vizsla throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kotrc blocks it with crossed arms.
Vizsla lands a hook to the side of the head.
Vizsla has picked Kotrc up - he's going for a ride! Vizsla dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Kotrc kicks Vizsla off and gets back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Baka Vizsla seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vizsla moves into the clinch.
Vizsla slowing the pace effectively.
Vizsla misses with the head strike.
Vizsla has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Kotrc uses from the top position.
Vizsla is striking but Kotrc is not phased and passes to half guard.

Kotrc is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Kotrc seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Vizsla is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
