Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yamato Ishii (ranked 8071 p4p, 295 weight class) and Perdue Willshire (ranked 23794 p4p, 340 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yamato Ishii! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Perdue Willshire! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ishii misses with a wild combination.
Willshire steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Ishii. Ishii takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ishii swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Ishii digs a good body shot into Willshire's ribs. Ishii just misses with a punch to the body.
Ishii misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Willshire shoots in for a takedown but Ishii shows good takedown defense. Willshire changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ishii looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ishii tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Willshire is looking for a choke. Ishii gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Ishii manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Willshire managing to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Willshire is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Ishii decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Willshire, up you get! Ishii slips a jab from Willshire. Willshire looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Willshire with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Willshire is pushing down on Ishii's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ishii is fighting to maintain full guard but Willshire has managed to sneak the leg through. Willshire lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ishii is trying to stand back up but Willshire is controlling him
Willshire not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Willshire slips a nice elbow through Ishii's hands, connecting with Ishii's forehead. Willshire winds up and cracks Ishii with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Willshire has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Ishii defend it? Willshire steps over the head and cranks it - Ishii is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Willshire!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Perdue Willshire! Yamato Ishii spoke after the fight, saying 'It is what it is'.
