Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rubin French (ranked 25655 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Stoneheart (ranked 6204 p4p, 0 weight class). Adrian Stoneheart has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rubin French! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adrian Stoneheart! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! French closes the distance and clinches up with Stoneheart, looking for a takedown. French pushes Stoneheart against the cage but Stoneheart circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Stoneheart closes the distance and pushes French back into the cage. Stoneheart has French pressed against the cage, preventing French from circling away and getting back to striking at range. French is trying to pull guard but Stoneheart has him pressed against the cage. French tries to pull guard but Stoneheart forces him back to his feet, against the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rubin French. That's going to take a lot out of him. French is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Stoneheart wants the takedown. French is fighting it off but Stoneheart persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in French's guard against the cage. Stoneheart is looking to work some ground and pound but French has wrist control. French being controlled here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. French can't keep his opponent in guard - Stoneheart advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stoneheart wants to pass the guard but French is defending well. Stoneheart stands up out of the half guard. Stoneheart lands with an overhand left.
It looks like Rubin French has been cut. French drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stoneheart throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! The fight moves into the clinch position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! French tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stoneheart just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stoneheart stalls. A left hand lands to the body for Stoneheart.
Stoneheart can't break the clinch.
French tries to pull guard but Stoneheart forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Stoneheart tries to circle away but French has him pinned against the cage. Stoneheart pulls guard successfully.
French being controlled here momentarily. French knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Stoneheart on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stoneheart throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Stoneheart pulls French in close to prevent any damage. French loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. French has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Stoneheart looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but French puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Stoneheart is controlling French's trapped leg to prevent French from advancing to side control. Stoneheart moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stoneheart trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adrian Stoneheart dominated that round. The cut man is working on Rubin French's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Stoneheart looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stoneheart works his way into side control. Stoneheart decides to stand back up. Adrian Stoneheart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Stoneheart instigates a clinch. French really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stoneheart pulls French into guard.
Stoneheart isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. French stacks Stoneheart on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by French! French tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stoneheart bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Stoneheart bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Stoneheart decides to take the fight back to the feet. Stoneheart leaves French with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Stoneheart shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. French manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. French is looking to stand back up but Stoneheart counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by French. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Stoneheart throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Stoneheart not doing much here.
Stoneheart uses his free foot to push down on French's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for French. Stoneheart thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. French is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Stoneheart misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Stoneheart working for a guillotine from mount but French is in no mood to give up. French is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Stoneheart throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Stoneheart thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Stoneheart takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Stoneheart throws some wild stikes that French manages to avoid easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adrian Stoneheart showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Rubin French's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Stoneheart steps back and let's French get back to his feet. French gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Stoneheart to score an easy takedown into full guard. Stoneheart passes easily into side control. Nice work. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stoneheart passes to full mount! That's big trouble for French! Stoneheart controlling from the full mount. Stoneheart thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. French is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. French avoids a series of strikes thrown by Stoneheart.
That's two minutes gone in the round. French suckers Stoneheart into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! French is now in Stoneheart's guard!
French is fighting to break Stoneheart's control of his arms but Stoneheart is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. French stopping the sweep attempt from Stoneheart.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stoneheart manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. French manages to get himself to full guard.
Stoneheart loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Stoneheart is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Stoneheart's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Stoneheart working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Stoneheart not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. French wants to sweep here but Stoneheart controlling him for the moment.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Adrian Stoneheart comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stoneheart has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
