Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Khru Jako (ranked 2924 p4p, 0 weight class) and Levi Davis (ranked 4391 p4p, 0 weight class). Jako comes into the arena with Catch a Fire blaring out of the sound system. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Khru Jako!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Levi Davis!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis throws a body shot but no joy.
Jako misses with the combination.
Jako lands a nice looking body kick.
Jako feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Davis's calf.
Jako scores with a jab to the body.
Jako has closed the distance and engaged Davis in a clinch.
Davis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Jako has Davis pressed against the cage.
Jako crunches a lovely knee into Davis's ribcage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jako is defending well against a takedown attempt.
A shot in the inside from Jako.
Davis tries to pull guard but Jako forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Davis drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jako gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Khru Jako has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Levi Davis.
Jako works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Davis looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davis is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jako gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Jako manages to break the clinch.
Jako lands a nice shot that snaps Davis's head back.
It looks like Levi Davis has been cut.
Jako connects with a good right hand that stumbles Davis. Davis circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jako turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Jako pushes Davis away with a front kick.
Jako has managed to clinch.
Jako breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Jako thumps Davis with a low kick.
Jako moves into range and connects with a jab.
Khru Jako seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jako misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ohhhhhhhhhh, brutal head kick from Jako! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Khru Jako!
Khru Jako very nearly forgot to thank Fanatic Inc. amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
