Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Demir Tskhadaia (ranked 5905 p4p, 523 weight class) and Voli Bear (ranked 5564 p4p, 511 weight class). Voli Bear will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Demir Tskhadaia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Voli Bear! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear scores with a nice strike. A jab from Bear finds it's way through Tskhadaia's defenses. Tskhadaia gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bear counters with a lovely straight right hand! Demir Tskhadaia seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A momentary lapse in concentration from Bear enables Tskhadaia to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bear manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bear is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tskhadaia lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Tskhadaia trying to control but Bear is working from the bottom. Bear utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tskhadaia tries to free his leg and advance position but Bear is retaining full guard. Bear has his hands on Tskhadaia's head, controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bear preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bear lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tskhadaia bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bear's guard. Bear pulls Tskhadaia in close to prevent any damage. We've been hearing that Tskhadaia has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Tskhadaia throws an elbow that misses. Bear uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tskhadaia's guard. Nice move by Bear! Tskhadaia keeping moving, preventing Bear from controlling successfully. Bear is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. That's two minutes gone in the round. Bear content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Tskhadaia might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bear trying to control but Tskhadaia is working from the bottom. Bear stands and throws Tskhadaia's legs to the side, diving into side control. Tskhadaia is looking for a sweep. Bear scores with a couple of short elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bear wants to control but Tskhadaia is keeping him busy. Bear lands an elbow. Bear is working Tskhadaia over with some ground and pound from side control. Tskhadaia tries to get back to half guard but can't. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Tskhadaia is trying to work for a sweep but Bear has mounted him! Tskhadaia is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
We've been informed that Bear has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Tskhadaia is in a horrible position here. Bear smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bear lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tskhadaia is in bad spot here.
Bear is trying to stick to Tskhadaia's back but Tskhadaia is turning into Bear. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bear's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Tskhadaia. Tskhadaia is looking to work some ground and pound but Bear has wrist control. Bear trying to control the position.

Voli Bear dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bear thuds his right hand into Tskhadaia's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Tskhadaia has his takedown stuffed and Bear counters with a nice uppercut. Bear stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bear wants it to stay on the feet. Bear lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tskhadaia gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily enabling Bear to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Demir Tskhadaia. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tskhadaia tries for a takedown but Bear circles away easily and Bear counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Bear looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Tskhadaia! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bear content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Tskhadaia looking for a sweep but Bear has passed into full mount! Oh no! Tskhadaia is trying to escape the mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear is landing with some decent strikes but Tskhadaia is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Tskhadaia on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Tskhadaia tries to get out of the position. The referee warns Tskhadaia that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Bear has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Bear is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tskhadaia can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Bear working Tskhadaia over with strikes. Bear frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Tskhadaia can't escape the position.
Bear lands a big elbow. Tskhadaia tries to get back to half guard but can't. Voli Bear has got the better of the ground game so far. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bear is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tskhadaia can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Bear with good strikes from the mount here! The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bear cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bear goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Tskhadaia is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear trying to control but Tskhadaia is working from the bottom. Tskhadaia knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bear on the ground. Tskhadaia is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tskhadaia is on top in guard.
Bear is pulling down on Tskhadaia's head to control his posture. Tskhadaia postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Tskhadaia postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Bear trying to keep a closed guard but Tskhadaia is proving a slippery customer.

Tskhadaia keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Bear's head. Bear controls Tskhadaia momentarily but Tskhadaia frees himself. Bear wants to sweep but no luck. Tskhadaia advances to half guard. Bear has hold of Tskhadaia's hands but Tskhadaia slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Bear is trying to control but can't.
Bear looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Voli Bear showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Tskhadaia missing with a left hand there. Bear was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Bear shoots in but no luck this time. Bear throws a good cross that connects.
Tskhadaia takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Tskhadaia attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Bear tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tskhadaia defends well and Bear ends up having to push Tskhadaia into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Bear misses with the combination.
Nice cross by Bear. Tskhadaia misses with a takedown attempt and Bear counters with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bear looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Demir Tskhadaia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Voli Bear. Bear gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tskhadaia to score an easy takedown into full guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tskhadaia lands a couple of digs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tskhadaia stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bear swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bear bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tskhadaia's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bear looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tskhadaia works his way to full guard. Good work. Bear working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Tskhadaia's head. Tskhadaia tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bear wants to control from the top but Tskhadaia keeps moving. Bear works over Tskhadaia with some ground and pound from guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Voli Bear comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bear has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
