PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed Walal (ranked 5108 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammed Kartiko (ranked 7288 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Mohamed Walal has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Mohamed Walal seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kartiko fails with a takedown attempt.
Walal avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Kartiko takes the fight into the clinch.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kartiko has eaten all the pies!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Walal is trying to trip Kartiko. He has hold of a leg but Kartiko is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Walal persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Walal is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Kartiko to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Kartiko shrugs it off.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Walal dives in and grabs Kartiko's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kartiko pushes down on Walal's head and hops out.
Kartiko tries to clinch up but Walal circles away and keeps his distance.
Kartiko moves in looking to clinch but Walal pushes him off.
Walal shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kartiko but Kartiko pushes him off and we're back to square one.

I have no idea who won that fight. Let's wait and see whether the judges are as confused as me! Time for a split decision perhaps?!. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
