Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Screw Ewe (ranked 1097 p4p, 118 weight class) and Devon Malcolm (ranked 952 p4p, 107 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ewe throws a hook but Malcolm avoids it easily.
Malcolm has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ewe is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Ewe is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Malcolm has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Ewe is looking to control Malcolm but Malcolm is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Ewe is trying to stick to Malcolm's back but Malcolm is turning into Ewe. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ewe's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Malcolm.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Devon Malcolm decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
