Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Screw Ewe (ranked 1097 p4p, 118 weight class) and Devon Malcolm (ranked 952 p4p, 107 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Screw Ewe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Devon Malcolm! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ewe throws a hook but Malcolm avoids it easily. Malcolm has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ewe is landing a low percentage of strikes. Ewe misses with a left hand and Malcolm counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ewe has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Men Only. No Liberals ! in the buildup to the fight. Ewe drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Ewe on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Malcolm tests Ewe's chin there with a solid looking shot. Ewe throws a poor cross that misses
letting Malcolm counter with a right hand. Malcolm uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ewe. Ewe misses the shot to the body. Malcolm walks into a stiff left hand from Ewe. Malcolm scores with a hook to the body. Ewe takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Ewe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Malcolm defending well as Ewe loads up on a big left hand. This has been an exciting period of action! A slow jab from Ewe misses its intended target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Malcolm throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ewe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Ewe connects with a single shot there. Malcolm cracks a nice hook into Ewe's ribs. Malcolm shoots in and gets a takedown into Ewe's guard. Malcolm is looking to work some ground and pound but Ewe has wrist control. Ewe controls Malcolm momentarily but Malcolm frees himself. Malcolm has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Malcolm working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ewe's head. Ewe being controlled here, momentarily. Malcolm is looking to work some ground and pound but Ewe has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malcolm missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Malcolm trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. That's three minutes gone in the round. Ewe lands an overhand right. Ewe misses the shot to the body. Malcolm ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Malcolm gets the takedown into side control. Ewe on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ewe tries to get out of the position. Malcolm connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Ewe some visible discomfort.
Malcolm wants to control but Ewe is keeping him busy. Malcolm misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Malcolm tries to move into full mount but can't pass Ewe's legs. Malcolm takes a little break here. Ewe wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ewe is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Malcolm off and has taken his back! Ewe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Malcolm on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ewe is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Malcolm has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Ewe is looking to control Malcolm but Malcolm is wriggling around and keeping busy. Ewe is trying to stick to Malcolm's back but Malcolm is turning into Ewe. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Ewe's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Malcolm. Malcolm cracks Ewe with a solid left hand. Ewe looking to control but Malcolm passes into half guard.
Malcolm thows a huge punch but Ewe dodges it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Devon Malcolm dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ewe throws a body punch but Malcolm moves out of range. Ewe connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Malcolm's hands. Ewe throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Screw Ewe is winning the standup battle so far. Ewe throws a body punch but Malcolm moves out of range. Ewe misses with a left hand enabling Malcolm to counter with a crisp jab. Malcolm uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ewe. Screw Ewe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ewe scores with a jab. Malcolm moves out of range as Ewe strikes. Ewe connects with a body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ewe connects with a body shot that sends Malcolm's belly button to the back. Malcolm throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ewe stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Ewe moves into range and connects with a jab. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Malcolm is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ewe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ewe takes a shot right to the bread basket. Ewe swings widly with a right hand
and Malcolm cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Malcolm pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Malcolm uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Ewe. Malcolm drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ewe defends it well. Ewe moves away from the strike by Malcolm. Ewe just misses with a punch to the body.
Ewe loads up on a big right hand but Malcolm slips the punch. Ewe works the jab nicely. Malcolm digs a good body shot into Ewe's ribs. Malcolm throws a hook but Ewe avoids it easily. Screw Ewe is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ewe waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Malcolm. Malcolm misses with a wild body shot.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ewe connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Malcolm momentarily.
Malcolm closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Devon Malcolm has got the better of the ground game so far. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Check out the look on Malcolm's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Malcolm throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Ewe works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Malcolm takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Malcolm missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Malcolm tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ewe knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Malcolm not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ewe avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Malcolm. Malcolm working Ewe over with strikes. Malcolm sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Ewe defending well though. Malcolm scoring with strikes to the body and head. Malcolm not landing any meaningful shots this time. Malcolm lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ewe has hold of Malcolm's hands but Malcolm slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Malcolm looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ewe taking some punishment here, with Malcolm in his half guard. Malcolm throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Malcolm working Ewe over with strikes. Ewe keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ewe is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Malcolm scores with a couple of nice shots. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ewe is trying to maintain the position but Malcolm is very close to passing his half guard. Malcolm throwing shots but Ewe is blocking nicely. Ewe is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Malcolm scores with a couple of nice shots. Nice strikes from Malcolm there. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Malcolm lands a nice short elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Devon Malcolm showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Malcolm bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Ewe's head. Ewe waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Malcolm. That's one minute gone in the round. Ewe gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Malcolm throwing strikes from guard but Ewe blocks nicely. Malcolm stays in close to Ewe's body and controls the position. Malcolm has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Malcolm working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ewe's head. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Malcolm's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Malcolm stands up over Ewe, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Malcolm postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Malcolm with a nice head shot there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Malcolm lands a couple of digs. Malcolm is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Malcolm makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Ewe is rocked! Malcolm throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ewe works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Malcolm with a nice head shot there. Ewe working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Malcolm. Malcolm is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Malcolm missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Malcolm passes easily into side control. Nice work. Screw Ewe has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Malcolm trying to control the position but Ewe is working away. Malcolm scoring with punches from side control. Malcolm trying to control the action but Ewe is working from the bottom. Malcolm creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Malcolm is putting a hurting on Ewe here, landing some big shots from side control. Oh Ewe is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ewe regains half guard, as Malcolm was trying to land strikes. Ewe seems to have got his legs back now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Malcolm prevents Ewe from improving his position. Devon Malcolm is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Malcolm seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Malcolm stalling. Malcolm lands strikes from half guard. Nice strikes from Malcolm there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Malcolm keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
And that's the end of the fight! Devon Malcolm comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Malcolm winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Devon Malcolm decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
