Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anton Strålman (ranked 1400 p4p, 69 weight class) and Cole Reynolds (ranked 2281 p4p, 120 weight class). Strålman comes to the cage accompanied by Three Kings. Anton Strålman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Anton Strålman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Cole Reynolds!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reynolds misses with a leg kick.
Strålman thows a body kick. Reynolds tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Strålman clobbers Reynolds with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

A left and a right from Strålman both land. Nice combination.
Reynolds throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Reynolds misses with a body shot
and Strålman makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Reynolds loads up on a big right hand but Strålman slips the punch.
Reynolds avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A slapping body kick lands there for Strålman.
Strålman walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Strålman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Reynolds has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Reynolds takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Anton Strålman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Strålman bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Reynolds's head backwards.

Reynolds throws a series of punches but Strålman avoids them all with ease.
Reynolds lands a big head kick that sends Strålman tumbling to the mat! Reynolds takes a step backwards and waves Strålman back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Oh Strålman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Reynolds throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Strålman looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Strålman goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Reynolds takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

and Strålman takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Reynolds throws out a counter right but Strålman avoids it with no problem.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Anton Strålman will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

It looks like Strålman has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Reynolds checks a leg kick.

Strålman quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Reynolds slips a jab and a cross from Strålman.
Reynolds avoids a kick to the body.
BOOM! Reynolds lands a beautiful left hook that drops Strålman. Strålman tries to recover but Reynolds is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Strålman lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cole Reynolds!
Cole Reynolds decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
