Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Klahan Metharom (ranked 3347 p4p, 162 weight class) and Ashton Knuckles (ranked 4392 p4p, 204 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ashton Knuckles!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knuckles misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Knuckles tries for a takedown but Metharom circles away easily
and Metharom counters with a low kick, right behind Knuckles 's knee.
Knuckles tries to clinch there but Metharom circles away.
No luck for Knuckles with that takedown attempt.
A nice leg kick lands there from Metharom.
Knuckles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Metharom swivels and escapes.
Klahan Metharom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ashton Knuckles.
Knuckles fails with a takedown attempt.
It looked like Metharom wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Metharom looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Knuckles throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Metharom makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Knuckles fails with the takedown
and Metharom counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Metharom cracks Knuckles with a good jab.

Knuckles tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Metharom manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Metharom lands a nice shot that snaps Knuckles's head back.
Nice straight punches there by Metharom. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Metharom.
Knuckles gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Metharom counters with a nice uppercut.
Knuckles goes for a double leg but Metharom avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Metharom continues to drive forward.
Knuckles looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Metharom lands a nice looking body kick.
Knuckles darts in trying to clinch
and Metharom counters with a good low kick that Knuckles was not able to check.
Knuckles looks winded!
Knuckles throws a left and a right that both miss

and Metharom counters with a crisp right hand that drops Knuckles! Metharom lets Knuckles back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Knuckles is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Knuckles ducks into an uppercut from Metharom and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
