Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arto Blomsten (ranked 4901 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyrith Ungol (ranked 8858 p4p, 0 weight class). Ungol has chosen Kings of Metal as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
22 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Arto Blomsten! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cyrith Ungol! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blomsten uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Ungol.
Blomsten moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Ungol throws a big shot that misses. Ungol throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Ungol throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Blomsten lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Cyrith Ungol has been cut. Blomsten misses with a lunging right hand
and Ungol cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Blomsten misses with a hook to the body
and Ungol counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Blomsten uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ungol. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ungol takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ungol lands with a straight right. Blomsten didn't see that one coming. Nice cross by Ungol. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Blomsten stuns Ungol with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blomsten works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Blomsten takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Ungol gets tackled into the cage by Blomsten. Blomsten maintains the clinch. Blomsten lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Ungol misses with a short punch on the inside. Blomsten has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Ungol is trying to keep an underhook but Blomsten manages to get the takedown into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ungol can do anything to dispel that myth. Ungol looking for submissions off his back. Ungol works his way to full guard. Good work. Blomsten is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Blomsten is pushing down on Ungol's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ungol is fighting to maintain full guard but Blomsten has managed to sneak the leg through. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Blomsten keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Blomsten is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Ungol defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ungol wants to improve his position but Blomsten is controlling well.
Still in half guard, Blomsten seems content to control. Ungol looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ungol looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Blomsten is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Ungol sees it coming and defends easily. Ungol looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ungol looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Ungol really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blomsten. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Blomsten slips a nice elbow through Ungol's hands, connecting with Ungol's forehead.

He lands a short punch in the meantime. Ungol looking for submissions off his back. Ungol actively working from the bottom here. Ungol looks winded! Blomsten working the head and body with strikes. Blomsten frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Blomsten punishing his opponent with strikes.
That has opened up Cyrith Ungol's cut even more. Blomsten cracks Ungol with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
