Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cho Yong Seung!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Sosuke Kotani.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson throws a head kick that misses.

Seung closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nelson to the mat! Nelson manages to get full guard.
Nelson is wriggling around but Seung manages to pass to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Seung escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Nelson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

That was a close round but I would say that Willy Nelson will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Nelson swings for the body but Seung moves out of range.

Seung shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Seung was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Nelson explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Seung forces Nelson back against the cage and clinches.

Nelson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Nelson gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Seung has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Nelson clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Willy Nelson.
