Bagg is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bump-Kottonmouth Kings. Tee Bagg is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tee Bagg!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cash shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bagg's guard.


Bagg is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bagg looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Cash has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bagg is proving hard to escape from.
Bagg is still in real trouble! Can Cash finish him?
Cash lands a couple of elbows.

Bagg has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cash can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Cash knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bagg on the ground.
Cash lands a couple of elbows.

Cash is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Cash has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bagg is proving hard to escape from.
Cash lands a couple of elbows.
Cash scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Cash gets to his feet. Bagg looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Cash throws a nice looking combination but Bagg bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cash will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cash swinging wilding here.
Cash looks to land a combination but Bagg avoids it well.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bagg looks to land a left hand but Cash moved out of range nicely.
Bagg dodges the punch combination from Cash.
Bagg on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bagg swings widly with a right hand

and Cash counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Cash breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bagg throws an off balance right hand
and Cash counters with a one-two to the body.
Cash misses with a series of wild punches.
Bagg misses with a straight right.
A jab from Bagg misses.
No joy there for Cash, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bagg seems to have recovered his senses.
Cash misses with a double jab.
Cash lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Bagg is looking to close the distance but Cash sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Bagg crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Bagg is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Knee). Ante Cash!
