The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Flo!
Monteiro checks the leg kick nicely there.
Monteiro is looking for a counter combo.
A nice combination there by Flo.
Monteiro shoots in but Flo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Monteiro fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Monteiro shoots in for a takedown but Flo shows good takedown defense.
Flo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

As Monteiro backs off Flo throws a huge counter combo but Monteiro manages to avoid it all.

Flo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Monteiro doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Flo counters with a nice leg kick.
Monteiro shoots in for a double leg but Flo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Monteiro is breathing heavily.
Flo blocks a head kick by Monteiro.
Flo counters with a body kick.
Sloppy strikes from Monteiro. Those never looked like landing.
That kick from Flo tenderised Monteiro's leg. Monteiro is trying to keep his angry face on.

Monteiro avoids the head kick by Flo.
Monteiro shoots for a double leg takedown but Flo sprawls well. He's pushed Monteiro's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Flo throws a fast counter high kick but Monteiro manages to duck under it in time.
Flo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Monteiro throws a left and a right that both miss
and Flo counters with a series of strikes. Monteiro will be more careful next time no doubt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Flo throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The fighters circle, before Flo throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Monteiro's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Flo lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
