PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Micky Ward (ranked 6701 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goosey Loosey (ranked 6044 p4p, 0 weight class). Ward has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Loosey fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ward, pushing him back against the cage.
Ward tries to pull guard but Loosey forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Loosey is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Ward is breathing heavily.
Ward is trying to break the clinch but Loosey is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Loosey manages to pull guard.
Loosey seems keen to control Ward's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Loosey changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Ward tries to avoid it but Loosey manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Ward to the ground. Ward escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Loosey throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ward's waist but Ward gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Loosey off to one side.

Well Loosey has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
