Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocket Bob Frankels (ranked 115 p4p, 5 weight class) and Dmitri Zaitsev (ranked 231 p4p, 9 weight class). Frankels's entrance music is Dawn....Summer Solstice... . A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
20 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rocket Bob Frankels!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dmitri Zaitsev!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frankels pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Frankels connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Zaitsev takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Frankels avoids a punch combination nicely.
Zaitsev lands a head shot.
Zaitsev feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Frankelss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Zaitsev is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Frankels.
Zaitsev moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Zaitsev lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Zaitsev throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Frankels tries a low kick but Zaitsev avoids it.
Zaitsev now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Frankels lunges at Zaitsev with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Zaitsev's hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Zaitsev staying out of range there.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Zaitsev! But no joy.
Frankels cracks a nice hook into Zaitsev's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Frankels looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Frankels uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Zaitsev.
Frankels misses with a straight right.
Zaitsev jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Frankels takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Frankels plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Zaitsev throws an off balance right hand
and Zaitsev takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Frankels bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zaitsev's head backwards.
Zaitsev fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Frankels manages to avoid it.
Zaitsev misses with a leg kick
and Frankels scores with a counter punch that sends Zaitsev to the canvas! Frankels smells blood - he's punishing Zaitsev with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Zaitsev has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rocket Bob Frankels!
A less than humble Rocket Bob Frankels misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
