Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hasheem Njoukuaku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Rice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Njoukuaku kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is I'll Still-50 Cent, Akon. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hasheem Njoukuaku! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jerry Rice! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Njoukuaku tries a head kick but it misses.
Njoukuaku drops Rice with a beautiful combination! Rice stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Njoukuaku is looking for the KO!
It looks like Jerry Rice has been cut. Rice avoids the head kick by Njoukuaku.

Rice darts in and clinches Njoukuaku up against the cage. Njoukuaku with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Njoukuaku misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rice.
Rice is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Njoukuaku misses with a knee to the head. Rice managing to block the knees to the body from Njoukuaku.
Njoukuaku throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rice blocks it with crossed arms. Njoukuaku connects with a nasty looking knee right to Rice's face.
Rice pulls guard. Rice lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
Njoukuaku wants to stand and escape but instead Rice has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Njoukuaku controls Rice momentarily but Rice frees himself.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rice prevents Njoukuaku from getting back to his feet. Njoukuaku is breathing heavily. Rice is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Njoukuaku working for a triangle but Rice defends it easily.
Rice passes into half guard. Rice is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Njoukuaku tries to roll over but Rice keeps him under control. Rice is figuring out what he wants to do next. Rice is working for a submission of some sort.
Rice passes into side control, despite Njoukuaku's attempt to control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rice controlling the position from side mount. Njoukuaku is trying to control Rice's posture but Rice avoids it. Njoukuaku tries to buck Rice off but Rice is having none of it. Njoukuaku is trying to control Rice's posture but Rice avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Njoukuaku is looking to reverse the position. Njoukuaku wants to get back to his feet but Rice drags him back down. Njoukuaku is trying to control Rice's posture but Rice avoids it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Rice takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Hasheem Njoukuaku seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Njoukuaku rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rice moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rice scores with a push kick. Njoukuaku throws a series of punches but Rice avoids them all with ease. Rice slips a jab and a cross from Njoukuaku.
Rice blocks a head kick by Njoukuaku.
Njoukuaku looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Njoukuaku misses with a head kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hasheem Njoukuaku dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jerry Rice's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Njoukuaku throws a right and a left that Rice avoids nicely. Njoukuaku throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Njoukuaku tries a head kick but it misses.

Rice shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Njoukuaku as he avoids it easily. Njoukuaku throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Njoukuaku lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Rice crumples to the floor! Njoukuaku milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
