Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Oglek Tomar (ranked 20614 p4p, 702 weight class) and Alfonso Valdez (ranked 8594 p4p, 620 weight class). Valdez has chosen Believer - Imagine Dragons as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tomar connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Valdez momentarily.
Tomar lands a jab to Valdez's midsection.

Valdez moves into the clinch.
Tomar lands with a left to the head.

Valdez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Tomar bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Valdez's head.

Valdez does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Well Tomar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
