Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Chiharu Shiba (ranked 3683 p4p, 406 weight class) and CM Yaj (ranked 5245 p4p, 530 weight class). Shiba comes to the cage accompanied by Godsmack - Immune & Sick Puppies - Survive . This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, CM Yaj!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaj avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Yaj defending well as Shiba loads up on a big left hand.
Yaj lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Shiba throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Yaj counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Shiba throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yaj looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Yaj comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Shiba walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Chiharu Shiba has been cut.
Yaj digs a good body shot into Shiba's ribs.
Shiba throws the left hand but Yaj avoids the punch easily.
Yaj looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Yaj displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Shiba throws out the jab.
Shiba tries to clinch but Yaj moves out of range.

and Yaj counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Yaj throws out a counter right but Shiba avoids it with no problem.
Yaj jabs at Shiba's body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Shiba looks to land a right hand but Yaj moved out of range.
A jab from Shiba finds it's way through Yaj's defenses.
It looks like CM Yaj has been cut.

Shiba tries to bum rush Yaj with a series of wild strikes but Yaj uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Yaj works over Shiba's head and body with a nice combination.
Shiba is rocked!
Shiba throws a combination that misses
and Yaj counters with a stiff right hand.
Oh Shiba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shiba on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Yaj dances in with a quick combination. Shiba is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Yaj snaps Shiba's head back. Shiba stumbles backwards against the cage. Yaj steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Shiba's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Shiba just didn't come prepared.
