Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Roland Benson (ranked 24538 p4p, 0 weight class) and La Lawn (ranked 6045 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roland Benson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, La Lawn! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Benson with that takedown attempt. A head kick from Benson lands but Lawn takes it in his stride. Benson gets caught flat footed, as Lawn shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lawn controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Lawn has eaten all the pies! Benson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Benson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. No luck for Benson with that takedown attempt. Lawn with the counter takedown but Benson avoids it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lawn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Benson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Benson trying to remain calm as Lawn controls from the top position. Benson tries to improve position but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lawn controlling from side mount. It looks like Lawn might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Benson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lawn gets the takedown into side control. Lawn in side control, just content to control the action for now. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Benson is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
La Lawn dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Lawn closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Benson's guard. Lawn has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lawn controlling from the top position. Benson manages to escape and get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lawn stuffs the takedown attempt from Benson. Benson gets slowly back to his feet. Lawn changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Lawn looking to score a takedown here. Benson is defending well but Lawn drives through and ends up in Benson's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lawn is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Lawn prevents Benson from getting back to his feet. Lawn looking to control the position here, rather than advance. La Lawn has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Lawn's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Lawn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Lawn keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Benson is controlling Lawn's position as best he can from this difficult position. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Benson is trying to control but can't.
Lawn controlling the action here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. More stalling from Lawn.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Benson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lawn's waist but Lawn gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Benson off to one side. As Benson backs off Lawn throws a huge counter combo but Benson manages to avoid it all. Lawn shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Benson is trying to defend but Lawn finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Lawn seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
La Lawn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Benson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lawn circles away. Lawn is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Lawn throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Benson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lawn is in Benson's guard. Lawn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Benson wants to sweep here but Lawn controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lawn engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Let's hope that Lawn has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Benson has a takedown stuffed. Lawn lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Benson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lawn replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Benson blocks it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. A momentary lapse in concentration from Benson enables Lawn to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Benson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Benson looking for a sweep. Not yet Benson, not yet. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lawn's corner is telling him to maintain position. Lawn with more of the same as he continues to hold on.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lawn closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Benson to the mat! Benson manages to get full guard. Lawn controlling from the top position.

And that's the end of the fight! La Lawn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lawn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
