Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Space (ranked 1134 p4p, 165 weight class) and Enzo Perez (ranked 2567 p4p, 346 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Kevin Space!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Enzo Perez!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez misses with a straight left.

Space gets the takedown into side control.

Space working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Space wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Perez, who protects the arm well.
Perez is looking to reverse the position.
You can see the frustration on Perez's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Perez tries to buck Space off but Space is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Space is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Perez knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Perez is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Space asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Space is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Perez is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Perez is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Space postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Space thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Perez is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Space has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Space tries to score with some ground and pound. Perez controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Space tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Space thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Space working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Perez manages to work his way to half guard, despite Space's best efforts.
Space trying to mount his opponent but Perez defends it.
Perez is trying to stand back up but Space is controlling him
Perez keeping hold of Space's head, controlling as best he can.

Space is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Space thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Perez's head.

Space is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Perez is trying to control but can't.

Perez is pressing down on Space's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Perez wants to get back to his feet but Space is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Space drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Space jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Space with a flurry of punches that miss.
Space throwing strikes but missing.
Perez wants to stand and escape but Space is having none of it.
Space has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Space wants to pass the guard but Perez is keeping the position.
Perez seems keen to control Space's posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perez is looking to stand up but Space isn't so interested in that idea.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Space thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Perez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Perez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Perez just misses with a punch to the body.
Enzo Perez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perez lands a nice looking body shot.
Perez missing with a left hand there. Space was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Space misses with a takedown attempt - Perez sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
It seemed like Perez was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kevin Space dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Space shoots in looking for a takedown but Perez manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Space's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Space has a takedown stuffed.
Perez lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Perez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Space.
Space fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Space. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Perez throws a counter combo.
Perez misses with a straight left.

No luck for Space with that takedown attempt.
Perez let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Perez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.


It looks like Kevin Space has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Space is defended easily by Perez.
It seemed like Perez was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Perez throws a low kick but it's checked well by Space.
Perez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Perez throws out a leg kick but Space moves out of range and Perez only half commits.

Space closes the distance and clinches up with Perez, looking for a takedown. Space pushes Perez against the cage but Perez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Perez throws a big counter head kick but Space avoids it with no problem.
Perez throws a poor cross that misses

and Space counters with a takedown into side control.

Perez sneaks out the side door and pushes Space away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Perez throws a shot to the body.
Perez thumps Space with a low kick.
Enzo Perez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Space slips a jab and a cross from Perez.
Perez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Space.

Perez lands with an uppercut that bounces Space off the cage and back into range.

Space clinches.
Perez lands with a right to the head.
Perez misses with a short punch on the inside.
Space is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Perez gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Space tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Perez smiles and moves away.
A swing and a miss from Perez.
Perez lands a jab to Space's midsection.
Perez digs a good body shot into Space's ribs.
Space moves forwards but Perez connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Perez misses with a straight left.
Space fails to land the takedown.

Space looks for a takedown but Perez sprawls well.
Perez cracks Space with a right hand to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Space counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Space.

Perez swings wildly with an uppercut but Space uses good head movement to avoid it.

Perez is pressed up against the cage. Space has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Perez down to the mat. Perez avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Enzo Perez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Kevin Space's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Space gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Perez gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Space is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Enzo Perez!
A relieved looking Enzo Perez thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
