Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Li Lianjie!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Lianjie misses its intended target.
Lianjie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Henry The Crab seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lianjie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
The Crab stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lianjie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. The Crab defends it nicely.
It looked like The Crab wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
A nice combination there by Lianjie.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A jab from The Crab does it's job there.

and The Crab counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The Crab uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lianjie.

The Crab scores with a jab to the jaw.
Lianjie is rocked!
The Crab lands with an uppercut that bounces Lianjie off the cage and back into range.
Lianjie is still on wobbly legs! Can The Crab finish him?
It looks like The Crab has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Lianjie clinches up with The Crab and pushes him back against the cage.
The Crab tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The Crab presses Lianjie against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Lianjie seems to have recovered his senses.
The Crab lands a hook to the side of the head.
The Crab lands with a short punch from the clinch.
The Crab landing knees to the body.
The Crab lands with a short head shot on the inside.
The Crab lands a body punch.
The Crab lands a right hand.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lianjie manages to pull guard.
The Crab connects with a couple of short punches.
The Crab engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The Crab drops back looking for a leg! Lianjie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Lianjie manages to kick The Crab off! The Crab jumps back into Lianjie's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The Crab with a flurry of punches that miss.
The Crab slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The Crab throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lianjie works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The Crab is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lianjie avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The Crab not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The Crab postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
We've been informed that Lianjie has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Lianjie throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! The Crab escapes and throws Lianjie's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The referee asks The Crab politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. The Crab prefers to stall for the moment though.
The ground and pound from The Crab seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
A lull in the action here as The Crab stalls from top position.
The Crab looks up at the clock and then as Lianjie takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, The Crab smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The Crab looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Lianjie is avoiding damage well.
The Crab lands a nice forearm strike.
The Crab staying calm.
The Crab is putting a hurting on Lianjie here, landing some big shots from side control.
The Crab moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Lianjie gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Henry The Crab dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Lianjie has his takedown stuffed
and The Crab cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lianjie.
Nice defenses there by Lianjie.
Li Lianjie is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lianjie misses with a takedown
and The Crab counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Henry The Crab has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Li Lianjie.
Good work by Lianjie as he checks the leg kick.
Lianjie is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Lianjie gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Lianjie on the wrong end of a nice hook.

and The Crab connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
The Crab gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The Crab gets control of Lianjie's arms and successfully pulls guard. The Crab will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The Crab seems keen to control Lianjie's posture.

The Crab working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lianjie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but The Crab is tightening it up a little... Lianjie has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Lianjie reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Lianjie taps out! Nice BJJ there by The Crab!
