Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom McGettigan!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nate Lopez!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGettigan with a hook.
It looks like Nate Lopez has been cut.
Lopez shoots in looking for a takedown. McGettigan tries to sprawl out of it but Lopez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McGettigan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looked like McGettigan wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Lopez keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McGettigan lands a nice shot to the body.
A slow jab from McGettigan misses its intended target.
A nice side step and Lopez releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Lopez looks to land a right hand but McGettigan moved out of range.
McGettigan is looking to counter punch.
McGettigan misses with a hook. Lopez ducked under it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McGettigan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lopez.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lopez! But no joy.
A big right from McGettigan misses.
Lopez tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
McGettigan misses with a wild body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lopez dives in and scores a takedown into McGettigan's guard.
McGettigan is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Lopez dives into side control.
McGettigan definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Lopez wants to control but McGettigan is keeping him busy.
Lopez wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by McGettigan, who protects the arm well.
McGettigan is trying to control Lopez's posture but Lopez avoids it.
Lopez trying to control the position but McGettigan is working away.
Lopez is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. McGettigan looks calm but he's in trouble here. Lopez gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. McGettigan is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Lopez lets go of the hold and McGettigan can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Nate Lopez was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
