The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cunningham moves into range and clinches up with Hardy.
Cunningham has Hardy pressed against the cage, preventing Hardy from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Cunningham tries to pull guard but Hardy holds him up against the cage and eventually Cunningham drops back down to his feet.
Cunningham lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Hardy is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Cunningham pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hardy has hold of Cunningham's hands but Cunningham slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Hardy manages to get to full guard.
Cunningham stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hardy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cunningham is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Cunningham gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Cunningham gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Cunningham apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Cunningham pulls Hardy in close to his closed guard and prevents Hardy from doing any damage or advancing position.
Cunningham has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Well Cunningham has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
