Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hemmo Hujoppi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jokke Hansseen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hujoppi comes to the ring accompanied by Juelz Santana - Kill Em'. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jokke Hansseen!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hansseen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hansseen is looking to work some ground and pound but Hujoppi has wrist control.
Hansseen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Hujoppi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Hansseen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hujoppi's guard.
Hansseen wants to advance to full mount but Hujoppi doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Hansseen stays in close to Hujoppi's body and controls the position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hansseen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hujoppi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Hujoppi throws a head kick but Hansseen moves out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Hemmo Hujoppi will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Hujoppi is trying to maintain the position but Hansseen is very close to passing his half guard.

Hujoppi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hansseen on the ground.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hujoppi has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Hansseen is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Hansseen is persistently looking for the submission but Hujoppi is defending it well.

Hujoppi is having to fend off submission attempts from Hansseen, who is looking to sink in the choke. Hansseen doesn't have the hooks in though and Hujoppi manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jokke Hansseen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hansseen crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hujoppi - the referee stops the clock and Hansseen gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hujoppi. Hansseen manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Hujoppi is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Hujoppi cracks Hansseen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Hujoppi fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hansseen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Hansseen shoots in and drives through. Hujoppi sprawls well.

Hansseen looking to sit in guard and control but Hujoppi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hansseen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hujoppi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
