Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Don Gotti (ranked 1551 p4p, 195 weight class) and Nomor Gai (ranked 1674 p4p, 205 weight class). Gai has chosen Alice Cooper No More Mr. Nice Guy as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Don Gotti! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nomor Gai! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gai connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Gotti avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Gotti drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Gai told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Gai managing to control the position. Gotti looking to pass the guard. Gotti trying to control but Gai is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gotti in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gai keeping moving, preventing Gotti from controlling successfully. Gotti sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gai's guard. Gai wants to get back to his feet.
Gotti seems to be working for a kimura but Gai defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Gai manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Gotti is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Gotti is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Gotti stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gai swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gotti trying to control the position from guard on top but Gai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gai seems keen to control Gotti's posture.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gai bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Gotti's guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gai postures up in Gotti's guard and throws a big left but Gotti blocks it. Gai avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gai trying to control but Gotti is working from the bottom. Gotti pushes a forearm under Gai's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gai is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Don Gotti! A less than humble Don Gotti misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
