The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Peter Branson and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazarith throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Diaz's head.
Lazarith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lazarith throws a right and a left that Diaz avoids nicely.
We've been informed that Lazarith has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Lazarith thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Diaz if he has to take too many more of those.

Diaz has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Lazarith uses from the top position.
