Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pipi Manu (ranked 4346 p4p, 436 weight class) and Henry Chinaski (ranked 5620 p4p, 521 weight class). Manu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, 'We dont like Cricket'. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pipi Manu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Henry Chinaski! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chinaski swings for the body but Manu moves out of range.
Manu with a poor takedown and Chinaski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Chinaski dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Manu closes the distance looking to clinch and Chinaski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Chinaski missing with a left hand there. Manu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Manu misses with a double jab
letting Chinaski counter with a right hand. Manu wants to clinch up but Chinaski keeps it at a distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manu is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Manu shoots in for a takedown but Chinaski shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Manu gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Manu using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Chinaski has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's one minute gone in the round. Manu lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Chinaski wants to control but Manu is keeping busy and won't allow it. Manu working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Manu has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Manu is trying to control the action in half guard but Chinaski is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Still in half guard, Manu seems content to control. Manu sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chinaski defending well though. Manu moves nicely into side control. Chinaski is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Manu in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Manu throws an elbow but Chinaski slips to the side and avoids it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manu remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Chinaski is not content to let Manu control the position. Chinaski is trying to get back to half guard. Manu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Manu throws a strike aimed at the side of Chinaski's head but Chinaski avoids it well. Chinaski taking punishment in the form of punches.
Manu landing a few strikes. Manu controls the position from side control. Manu wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chinaski keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chinaski can't do much from the bottom here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chinaski can do anything to dispel that myth. Chinaski prevents Manu from improving position. Chinaski takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Chinaski is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chinaski pushes Manu away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Manu gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. The referee asks Manu politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Manu prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Chinaski parries the strikes from Manu easily there. Manu is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Chinaski to escape.
Manu is putting a hurting on Chinaski here, landing some big shots from side control. Manu misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Manu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The strikes coming from Manu are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Manu scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Chinaski to see if he's OK. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Manu advances nicely into full mount. Manu lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Chinaski hang on? Chinaski takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pipi Manu dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Chinaski throws out a loose jab but Manu uses good head movement to avoid it. Chinaski keeps the fight on the outside. Manu shoots in for a takedown but Chinaski shows good takedown defense. Manu looks to score with a jab to the body but Chinaski is just out of range. Chinaski throws a body punch but Manu moves out of range. Chinaski clobbers Manu with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Manu forces Chinaski back against the cage and clinches. Manu wants to take the fight to the mat but Chinaski manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Manu tries for a takedown but Chinaski manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pipi Manu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chinaski is trying to break free. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Manu gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Chinaski regains guard.
Chinaski pushes Manu off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Chinaski has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Manu doesn't succeed with the takedown and Manu takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Chinaski is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Manu throws an off balance right hand
and Chinaski counters with a stiff right hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chinaski circles away from the clinch attempt.
Manu fails to land the takedown. Manu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Chinaski clobbers Manu with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Chinaski has worked on his takedown defense in the runup to this fight and it is paying off so far. Chinaski swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Manu. Manu throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Chinaski counters with a lovely straight right hand! Manu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chinaski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Manu somewhat. Chinaski throws a jab but it's blocked by Manu.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Manu moves into the clinch successfully.
Chinaski pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Chinaski with a body punch. A glancing blow. Nice jab there from Chinaski. Manu fails with the takedown letting Chinaski counter with a right hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Manu shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Chinaski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Manu looking to score a takedown here. Chinaski is defending well but Manu drives through and ends up in Chinaski's guard. Chinaski looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Manu puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Chinaski holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Chinaski pushes Manu off and gets back to his feet. Danga de danga de dang - Chinaski scores with a four punch combination!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Manu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Chinaski bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Chinaski scores with a shot to the body.
Chinaski moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Henry Chinaski seems to be getting the better of the standup. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Manu tries to clinch up but Chinaski circles away and keeps his distance. Manu takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Nice body punch from Chinaski. Manu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Manu showed some decent athleticism there. Manu thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chinaski's head. Chinaski trying to hold on to Manu's head to control him but Manu postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Manu uses his free foot to push down on Chinaski's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Chinaski. Chinaski is in all sorts of trouble here.
Manu landing strikes from the mount. Chinaski is trying desperately to improve position. Chinaski holds on for dear life. Chinaski has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Chinaski is trying to escape the mount.

Henry Chinaski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
A slow jab from Chinaski misses its intended target. Chinaski scores with a jab to the jaw. Manu shoots in but no luck this time. Manu shoots and misses and Chinaski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Manu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Chinaski. Manu blocks a jab. Chinaski misses with a hook. Manu ducked under it nicely. Pipi Manu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Manu instigates a clinch. Chinaski is looking to break free of the clinch but Manu has double underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chinaski digs a right hand into Manu's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Manu's gas tank. Manu doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Manu prevents Chinaski from breaking the clinch. A frustrated look appears on Chinaski's face as he tries to break the clinch. Manu keeps control of Chinaski as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Manu goes for a takedown attempt but Chinaski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Chinaski connects with a jab. Chinaski moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Manu tries to clinch but Chinaski moves away and Chinaski counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Manu has taken the fight to the clinch.
Manu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Chinaski tests Manu's chin there with a solid looking shot. Manu tries to clinch but Chinaski moves out of range. Chinaski looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Manu displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chinaski throws out the jab. Manu gets in close and instigates a clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action! Chinaski tries to break free but Manu pushes him back against the cage. Chinaski is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Chinaski tries to circle away but Manu has him pinned against the cage. Chinaski is trying to force a seperation but Manu has the dominant position. Chinaski wants to break the clinch but can't.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Henry Chinaski! A very excited looking Henry Chinaski rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
