Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Starling (ranked 23972 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reginald Lewis (ranked 3665 p4p, 0 weight class). Reginald Lewis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Starling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Reginald Lewis! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Starling.
It looks like Jackson Starling has been cut. Starling tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lewis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Starling gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lewis to score an easy takedown into full guard. Starling is looking to stand up but Lewis isn't so interested in that idea. Starling manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Lewis gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lewis has clasped his hands together around Starling's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Starling wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Starling is not content to let Lewis control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis controlling from side mount. Lewis wants to control but Starling is keeping him busy. Starling tries to escape but Lewis is in control. Lewis wants to take a breather but Starling manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Lewis.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Lewis looking to sit in guard and control but Starling gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Starling trying to control but Lewis is working from the bottom. Starling looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Starling is looking to work some ground and pound but Lewis has wrist control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lewis looking for a guillotine here but Starling defends easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lewis has control of Starling's left arm, preventing Starling from doing any damage. Lewis wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis controls Starling momentarily but Starling frees himself. Starling controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Lewis looking to hit a scissor sweep but Starling is one step ahead there. Starling postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Lewis wants to stand and escape but Starling is having none of it. Starling wants to control from the top but Lewis keeps moving. Lewis looking for a sweep. Not yet Lewis, not yet. Lewis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Lewis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Lewis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Starling tries to pull guard but Lewis forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Starling lands a hook to the side of the head. Lewis pulls guard effortlessly. Lewis is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Starling defends well. Lewis looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lewis looks winded! Starling wants to control from the top but Lewis keeps moving. Lewis wants to get back to his feet but Starling is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Starling wants to get up but he can't break Lewis's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Lewis is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Reginald Lewis will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jackson Starling's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Lewis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lewis lands in his opponent's guard. Starling wants to stand but Lewis is controlling the position. Lewis sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Starling wants to stand up but Lewis is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Starling preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Starling wants to stand but Lewis is controlling the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Starling tries for a takedown but Lewis circles away easily and Lewis counters by clinching up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lewis manages to break the clinch.
Starling tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Lewis shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Starling manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Lewis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lewis throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Starling enables Lewis to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Starling manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Starling wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Lewis manages to pass to side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lewis seems to be looking for submissions.
Lewis wants to lay and pray for a moment but Starling keeps working.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Starling is trying to escape back to his feet but Lewis uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Lewis tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Lewis has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Starling wants to get back to his feet but Lewis drags him back down. Lewis controlling from side mount. Starling is looking to get back to his feet here but Lewis is keeping cool and he's managed to take Starling's back. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Starling wants to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Reginald Lewis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jackson Starling's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Lewis pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Starling drops down looking for a counter takedown but Lewis sprawls and moves away. Lewis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Starling. Lewis bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lewis decides to take the fight back to the feet. Starling is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lewis drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Starling tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis looking for a guillotine from mount but Starling is having none of it. Lewis breaks from Starling's wrist control and lands an elbow. Lewis get's back to his feet. Lewis gets in close and instigates a clinch. Lewis is struggling to control the position. Lewis gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Starling has one foot on Lewis's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Starling fails with a takedown attempt. Lewis closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lewis lands in his opponent's guard. Lewis must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Lewis is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Lewis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lewis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Lewis throws a push kick but Starling slaps the foot to one side. Lewis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lewis controlling from the top position. Lewis wants to stand but Starling is controlling his posture from full guard. Starling is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
And that's the end of the fight! Reginald Lewis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lewis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
