The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darrow moves in looking to clinch but Lalla pushes him off.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lalla! But no joy.
Darrow uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lalla has time to react.
Darrow connects with an inside leg kick.
Darrow looks to score with a jab to the body but Lalla is just out of range.
Lalla looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Darrow is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lalla swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Darrow throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Jaro Lalla has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lalla takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Darrow wants to clinch up but Lalla keeps it at a distance.
Lalla looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Darrow throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Darrow lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Darrow tries to close the distance and clinch but Lalla swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lalla takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Darrow moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Blair Darrow is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Darrow scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Lalla is still on wobbly legs! Can Darrow finish him?
Lalla uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Darrow.
Darrow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lalla throws out a counter right but Darrow avoids it with no problem.
Lalla seems to have recovered his senses.
Lalla looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lalla takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lalla is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Darrow throws a body shot but no joy.

Darrow tries a head kick but it misses.
It seemed like Lalla was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Lalla takes one to the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lalla takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lalla has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Darrow.
A left lands for Darrow.
Nice straight punches there by Darrow. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Darrow.
Darrow just misses with a punch to the body.
A little jabbing left from Lalla on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Lalla circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lalla swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Darrow lands a body shot.
Darrow throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Lalla's head.
Darrow dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Darrow's jab looks to have found its range, popping Lalla under the eye.
Darrow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lalla.
Lalla takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Darrow has taken the fight to the clinch.

Darrow stops a takedown attempt from Lalla.
Darrow stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Darrow digs a right hand into Lalla's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Lalla's gas tank.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Darrow.
Darrow unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Lalla! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Darrow is unloading with more strikes now! Lalla drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
