Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ethan Glover (ranked 8391 p4p, 629 weight class) and Jeremiah Woodley Jr (ranked 9354 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ethan Glover! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jeremiah Woodley Jr! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Woodley Jr. Those never looked like landing. Glover darts in and clinches Woodley Jr up against the cage. Woodley Jr drags the fight down to the ground.
Woodley Jr is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Glover postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Glover's corner is telling him to maintain position. Glover seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Woodley Jr for as long as he can get away with. Woodley Jr looking for subs off his back but Glover has passed one foot through into half guard.

Glover fails to land the takedown. As Glover backs off Woodley Jr throws a huge counter combo but Glover manages to avoid it all. No luck for Glover with that takedown attempt. Woodley Jr let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Glover misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Woodley Jr's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Glover shoots in for a double leg but Woodley Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ethan Glover. That's going to take a lot out of him. Woodley Jr wants to clinch. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Woodley Jr wants it to stay on the feet. Woodley Jr slaps away a takedown attempt from Glover, before circling back to the center of the mat. Glover is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Woodley Jr as Glover tries to tie him up. Both fighters working to control the clinch. Glover is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Woodley Jr can do to turn this around? Woodley Jr has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Woodley Jr content to stall in guard here. Woodley Jr won't allow Glover to sweep him here. Woodley Jr wants to control from the top but Glover keeps moving.

Woodley Jr wants to stand and escape but Glover is having none of it. Glover forces his way into half guard. Woodley Jr is in trouble now - Glover has advanced to mount! Woodley Jr is desperately trying to improve his position but Glover has a good base and remains in mount. Glover lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glover working for a guillotine from mount but Woodley Jr is in no mood to give up. Glover cracks Woodley Jr with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ethan Glover will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Glover drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Woodley Jr has his hands on Glover's head, controlling the position. Glover makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glover passes into half guard. Glover is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Woodley Jr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Glover. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Glover lands with a punch from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glover looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Woodley Jr with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Nice strikes from Glover there. Woodley Jr is trying to get back to full guard. Glover working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Glover winds up and cracks Woodley Jr with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Woodley Jr wants to improve his position but Glover is controlling well.
Glover is trying to control the action in half guard but Woodley Jr is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Glover stalling. Ethan Glover overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Woodley Jr is not content to let Glover control the position. Glover is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Woodley Jr is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Glover missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Glover looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Ethan Glover seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Glover. No joy for Woodley Jr on that attempt. Woodley Jr closes the distance and clinches. Glover is looking for a takedown. Glover manages to pull guard.
Glover controls Woodley Jr momentarily but Woodley Jr frees himself. Woodley Jr slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Woodley Jr stopping the sweep attempt from Glover. Woodley Jr with a flurry of punches that miss. Glover is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Woodley Jr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Woodley Jr misses with a wild combination.
Woodley Jr tries to clinch but Glover moves out of range. Glover fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Woodley Jr, pushing him back against the cage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Glover has had enough of the clinch but Woodley Jr keeps him there for the moment. Woodley Jr keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Glover's efforts to push away. Jeremiah Woodley Jr has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ethan Glover is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Glover escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
And that's the end of the fight! Ethan Glover showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Glover, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
