Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ezra Johns (ranked 6091 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Spear (ranked 6094 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ezra Johns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Leo Spear! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spear closes the distance and clinches. Spear decides to pull guard. Spear is adopting a defensive guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Johns accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Johns missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Spear is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Spear is controlling the pace.
Let's hope that Spear has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spear tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Johns. Spear controlling the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johns trying to hold on to Spear's head to control him but Spear postures up.
Spear landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Spear lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Spear has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Spear controlling the pace. Johns really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Johns is looking for a sweep. Spear is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Spear content to control rather than advance. Johns trying to control but Spear postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johns wants to improve his position but Spear is controlling well.

Spear is figuring out what he wants to do next. Spear is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Johns is just riding it out for now. Spear eventually gives up the hold. Spear keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spear is looking to advance position but Johns won't allow it. Spear prevents Johns from improving his position. Spear is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Johns tries to keep at a distance but Spear has taken the fight into the clinch. Johns tries a body shot but Spear blocks it.
Spear manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Johns is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Spear pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Johns pulls guard successfully.
Spear is looking to stand up but Johns won't let him. Johns trying to keep a closed guard but Spear is proving a slippery customer.
Spear lands a couple of elbows. Spear looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Spear lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Spear seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Leo Spear dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Spear closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Johns quickly recovers to half guard. Johns wants to stand back up but Spear manages to pass into side control.
Johns struggling a bit here. Johns tries to bench press Spear off him but Spear keeps the position. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Spear working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spear is trying to get an arm triangle but Johns is defending well. Johns prevents Spear from moving into mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johns is looking for a sweep. Spear cracks Johns with an elbow. That is naaassty. Spear landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Spear landing strikes.
Johns is rocked! Johns taking punishment in the form of punches.
Oh Johns is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Spear cracks Johns with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Spear immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Johns is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Spear!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Leo Spear!
