The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lucan scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Ryan Brodie has been cut.
Lucan fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lucan stuffs the takedown attempt from Brodie. Brodie gets slowly back to his feet.
Lucan lands a jab to Brodie's midsection.
Lucan drives through with a takedown into Brodie's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Brodie knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lucan on the ground.
Lucan advances position into side control!
Lucan wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brodie, who protects the arm well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lucan is trying to get an arm triangle but Brodie is defending well.
Lucan has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Brodie is squirming around, avoiding Lucan's attempts to control the action.

Lucan pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.
Lucan goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Brodie turns into him and now he's in Lucan's guard.
Lucan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Brodie doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Lucan is tightening it up a little... Brodie has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Brodie reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Brodie taps out! Nice BJJ there by Lucan!
