Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Minoru Suzuki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Ong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Ong will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Minoru Suzuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, King Ong!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ong misses with a few strikes there.
Suzuki shoots in and drives through. Ong sprawls well.
King Ong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ong with a poor takedown
and Suzuki decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Ong's guard.
Suzuki wants to control from the top but Ong keeps moving.
Ong working for a triangle but Suzuki defends it easily.
Suzuki stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ong swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Suzuki connects with a couple of short punches.
Ong wants to get back to his feet but Suzuki is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Suzuki pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ong is keeping the position for now.
Ong keeping moving, preventing Suzuki from controlling successfully.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Ong gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Suzuki counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ong won't be happy with that.
Suzuki lands a decent elbow from side control.

Ong manages to get back to half guard.
Ong looking for subs from the bottom but Suzuki mounts him!
