Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Granville Bass (ranked 25145 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chad Dazzle (ranked 4766 p4p, 0 weight class). Chad Dazzle will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Granville Bass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Illya Tyunina and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dazzle tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Bass manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Dazzle lands a jab to Bass's midsection.
Sloppy strikes from Dazzle. Those never looked like landing.
Bass tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Dazzle manages to circle out of the way.
Dazzle displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Dazzle defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bass.
Dazzle throws a big shot that misses.
Bass's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Dazzle connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Bass scrambles back to his feet.
Dazzle scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Dazzle throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bass stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Dazzle clinches with his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A frustrated look appears on Bass's face as he tries to break the clinch.

With the fighters up against the cage, Dazzle throws an elbow but misses.
Bass has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dazzle avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Bass is trying to break the clinch but Dazzle is controlling him.
Bass is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Granville Bass. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bass tries to circle away but Dazzle has him pinned against the cage.
Dazzle wants to break free but Bass has control.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Dazzle takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dazzle working hard to break the clinch.
Bass really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bass is trying to break the clinch but Dazzle is controlling him.
Dazzle manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Dazzle wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Bass will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Dazzle wants to sweep but no luck.
Bass wants to stand and escape but instead Dazzle has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Bass is looking for a triangle here but Dazzle uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Bass throws a few strikes from the bottom but Dazzle takes advantage and mounts!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dazzle trying to control but Bass is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chad Dazzle dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Dazzle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
A combination from Dazzle does no damage.
Good work by Bass as he checks the leg kick.
A low kick from Dazzle is predictable there
and Bass counters with a one-two to the body.
Dazzle throws a right hand that Bass ducks under and follows up with a left that Bass also avoids with ease.
Dazzle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bass circles away quickly and effectively.
Bass half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Bass decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Dazzle is looking to control Bass's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dazzle avoid being mounted?
Well, if Bass is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Bass is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Dazzle has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
A head kick misses from Dazzle.
Bass throws a head kick that misses.
Dazzle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Dazzle feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bass is looking to stand back up but Dazzle counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bass.
Dazzle slows the pace down in half guard.

Bass wants to get back to his feet.
Bass is refusing to be controlled, as Dazzle sits in half guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Dazzle thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Dazzle is looking for a kimura but Bass is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dazzle to get the leverage.

Bass punching from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Chad Dazzle will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Dazzle stalks Bass and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bass's face. Bass staggers backwards, shaken.
Dazzle keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Dazzle throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bass counters with a series of strikes. Dazzle will be more careful next time no doubt.
Dazzle tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Dazzle lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Bass is rocked!
Dazzle lands with a right and another and another! Bass is in big trouble! Dazzle lands again and this time it's lights out for Bass! A quality knockout there for Dazzle.
