The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Cotton. Those never looked like landing.
It looked like Benavidez wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Benavidez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cotton swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cotton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Benavidez defends it easily.
