Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Barry Allen (ranked 3337 p4p, 0 weight class) and Otto Motto (ranked 25490 p4p, 0 weight class). Otto Motto will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Barry Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Otto Motto!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allen tries to keep at a distance but Motto has taken the fight into the clinch.
Allen scores with a shoulder strike.

Motto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Allen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Donk. Allen catches Motto right on the button with a cross.
Motto looks to land a right hand but Allen moved out of range.
Motto slips under a jab from Allen.
Motto explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Motto throws an off balance right hand
and Allen counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Allen moves out of range of the strikes.
Nice shot by Motto.
Allen swats away the attempt to clinch by Motto.
Allen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A nice inside leg kick there by Allen. That's going to slow Motto down.
Allen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Motto ducks under a wild hook from Allen.
Motto missing with a left hand there. Allen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Otto Motto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Motto misses with a left hand
and Allen counters with a stiff right hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Motto tries to clinch there but Allen circles away.
Allen uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Motto throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Allen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Motto at a distance.
Allen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Motto throws a right and a left that Allen avoids nicely.
Allen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Motto pushes Allen up against the cage in a clinch.
Motto displaying some good clinch control by pressing Allen up against the cage.
Allen tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Motto's elbow.
Motto tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Motto has Allen pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Allen manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Allen stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Motto is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Allen lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Motto pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Motto lands a head kick!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Allen lands an overhand right.
Good shot there by Allen.
Motto dodges the punch combination from Allen.
Motto tries a head kick but it misses.
Motto has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Allen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Motto can pounce on him.
Allen connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Allen jabs Motto right on the nose. Motto blinks but takes it well.
Motto misses with a leg kick
and Allen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.


Motto is rocked!
Motto throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Allen tried to counter with a leg kick but Motto avoided it.
Motto is still on wobbly legs! Can Allen finish him?

Motto gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Motto seems to have recovered his senses.
Motto throws a punch but it's blocked by Allen.
Allen prevents a body shot from Motto.
Motto lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Motto slowing the pace effectively.

Motto breaks from the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Motto misses with a straight left.
Motto throws a big shot that misses.
Motto misses with a looping left.
An inside leg kick from Motto misses.
Allen tests Motto's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Motto tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Allen counters with a nice uppercut.

Allen lands a big right hand that sends Motto crashing to the mat! Allen stays standing though and waves Motto back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Motto throws a right hand that Allen ducks under and follows up with a left that Allen also avoids with ease.
Motto walks straight into a right hand from Allen - that's dropped him! Allen jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Motto from any more punishment! Motto complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Barry Allen!
Barry Allen seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
