Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Caniel Dormier (ranked 3257 p4p, 371 weight class) and Doleman Deluccio (ranked 3985 p4p, 437 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Caniel Dormier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Doleman Deluccio! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deluccio stuffs the takedown. Deluccio chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Dormier shoots for a takedown but Deluccio saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Deluccio leaves Dormier with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Deluccio has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caniel Dormier. That's going to take a lot out of him. Dormier darts in looking for a takedown but Deluccio gets double underhooks and turns Dormier into the cage. Dormier gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Deluccio counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Dormier ducks right into an uppercut from Deluccio. Deluccio leaves Dormier with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Deluccio stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Deluccio wants it to stay on the feet. Dormier tries for a takedown but Deluccio circles away easily and Deluccio counters with a thumping low kick. Deluccio lands a head kick!

That's one minute gone in the round. Dormier closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Deluccio's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dormier accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dormier stopping the sweep attempt from Deluccio. Dormier throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Deluccio works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Dormier drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Dormier jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dormier drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Deluccio dives on top into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dormier is looking to cinch up a triangle. Deluccio throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dormier's body to avoid the submission. Dormier has instead reached around Deluccio's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dormier arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Caniel Dormier! A pretty intense looking Caniel Dormier took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
