Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pedro Changg! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Luke Thomas! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Changg avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Changg gets tackled into the cage by Thomas. Thomas maintains the clinch. Thomas tries a body shot but Changg blocks it.
Thomas throws a punch but it's blocked by Changg. Thomas misses with a hook to the ribs.

Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Changg lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Changg slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Changg seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Thomas for as long as he can get away with.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Thomas is looking to stand up but Changg isn't so interested in that idea. Changg seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Changg has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Changg throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Changg pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch but Changg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Changg paws at him with a jab and circles away. Thomas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Changg. Changg looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Thomas wants to clinch up but Changg keeps it at a distance. A little feinted left hand from Changg on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Thomas tries to clinch but Changg moves out of range. Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch but Changg swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. It looked like Changg was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Thomas. Thomas fails in his attempt to clinch. A solid leg kick lands there for Changg.
Thomas avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Changg shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. The fighters circle momentarily. Changg darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Changg fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thomas manages to avoid it. Thomas is looking to clinch. Changg moves forwards but Thomas connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Pedro Changg has been cut. Changg circles away from the clinch attempt.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Changg paws at him with a jab and circles away. Thomas misses with a two punch combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Changg throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Thomas's head. Changg scores with a leg kick.

The crowd cheers as Changg lands an impressive looking overhand right. Thomas doesn't seem phased though. Thomas ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Thomas lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Changg misses the body punch and Thomas cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Changg is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Thomas can do to turn this around? Changg circles away from the clinch attempt.

Luke Thomas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Changg cracks Thomas with an open hand slap. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Changg waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Thomas. Thomas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Changg sprawling to the canvas! Changg rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Thomas finish him?!
Pedro Changg's cut is getting worse. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Thomas moves in looking to clinch but Changg pushes him off. Changg throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Thomas now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Changg misses with a wild body shot. No joy there for Thomas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Changg thows a body kick. Thomas tries to catch it but that hurt him. Thomas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up but Changg swats him away and circles back towards the center. Thomas's coach down at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym (ALL ELITE COACHES) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Thomas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Thomas on the wrong end of a nice jab. Thomas tries to clinch but Changg moves out of range. Thomas takes a shot right to the bread basket. Thomas uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Changg.

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Further stalling from Changg. If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Changg is stinking the place up with his stalling.

Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Changg paws at him with a jab and circles away. Thomas's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Thomas tries to clinch but Changg is having none of it. Changg tries a head kick but it misses.

Changg keeps the fight on the outside. Thomas catches Changg with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Changg ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thomas moves away. Changg throws a body punch but Thomas moves out of range. Thomas tries to clinch but Changg is having none of it. Thomas tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Changg manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Thomas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Changg paws at him with a jab and circles away. Thomas loads up on a big right hand but Changg slips the punch. Thomas with a body punch. A glancing blow. Thomas has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Thomas is looking to clinch but Changg is avoiding it.
Changg comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Thomas moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

Thomas looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Changg bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Changg just misses with a punch to the body.
Changg scores with the left hand. Thomas knows he should have avoided that one. Thomas tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Changg keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Thomas. Changg keeps the fight on the outside. Changg is looking to wear down Thomas with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Changg, as that shot connected.
Changg looks to land a right hand but Thomas moved out of range. Changg throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Changg swats away the attempt to clinch by Thomas.

Changg throws a body shot but no joy. Changg scores with a push kick. Thomas throws an overhand right that lands on Changg's shoulder, as Changg tries to avoid the shot. Changg tries to counter by clinching up but Thomas breaks away and moves out of range. Changg tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Changg's Muay Thai looks sharper than normal. He has obviously been working on it in the gym. Thomas tries to clinch but Changg moves out of range. Changg was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Thomas scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Jeez, Pedro Changg's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Pedro Changg's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:37 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Luke Thomas! Luke Thomas very nearly forgot to thank FinnFighter Nutrition (Five 160Q supps!) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. Pedro Changg was interviewed post fight and said 'Fuck you'.
