Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Barack Obama (ranked 378 p4p, 15 weight class) and Kidney Stone (ranked 881 p4p, 43 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Stone's choice of entrance music: Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppord. Barack Obama has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
24 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barack Obama! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kidney Stone! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Alyssa Summers and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Obama steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Stone. That one must have hurt. Stone has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Good leg kick by Obama there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Stone throws out a leg kick but Obama moves out of range and Stone only half commits. Obama scores with a jab to the jaw. Obama takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
It looks like Barack Obama has been cut. Obama throws a low kick but Stone avoids it. We've been hearing reports that Obama has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Obama closes the distance and pushes Stone back into the cage. Obama doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Stone tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Stone trying to stall but Obama improves his position.
A right hook to the body lands for Obama.
Obama goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A body shot lands from Obama.
Obama lands a right hand that snaps the head of Stone backwards. Obama is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Stone gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Obama tries to work over Stone's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A head punch on the inside from Obama fails to land. This has been an exciting period of action! Obama lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Good body shot from Stone.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone tries a body shot but Obama blocks it.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Obama. Stone pushes Obama back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Stone blocks an uppercut.
A head punch on the inside from Stone fails to land. A head punch blocked on the inside by Stone. Obama lands with a left to the head. Obama throws a punch but it's blocked by Stone. Stone blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

A short right from Stone on the inside. Stone pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Obama feints and as Stone raises his hands in defense, Obama changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Stone wants to sweep here but Obama controlling him for the moment. Stone has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Obama slips nicely into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Obama seems to be working for a kimura but Stone defends the submission attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Stone tries to get to full guard but Obama has control of the leg. Obama is pressing down on Stone's thigh, looking to free his foot. Stone is holding on for now. Obama is trying to work for a kimura but Stone is defending well.
Stone is controlling Obama's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Obama is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Stone sees it coming and defends easily. Stone is trying to get back to full guard. Stone trying to control here.
Stone won't allow Obama to pass to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stone trying to control here.
Obama seems to be working for a kimura but Stone defends the submission attempt. Obama is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Obama wants to free his trapped foot but Stone is holding on for dear life with his legs. Obama wants to work for an arm triangle but Stone is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Stone is trying to control but can't.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Barack Obama dominated that round. The cut man is working on Barack Obama's cut. That's time! Obama's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Obama jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Obama feints a jab promting Stone to slip. Obama then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Stone slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Obama tries to clinch up but Stone circles away and keeps his distance. Stone is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Obama.
Stone is rocked! Obama shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Obama showed some decent athleticism there. Stone is still in real trouble! Can Obama finish him? Obama trying to pass the guard but Stone defending well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stone seems to have recovered his senses. Obama with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Obama tries to pass to full mount but Stone defends it. Obama maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Stone could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Obama has cracked it and Stone is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Obama!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Barack Obama!
