Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cuba Moretti (ranked 771 p4p, 103 weight class) and Miles North (ranked 2260 p4p, 266 weight class). North is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Men at Work - Down Under. Miles North has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
8 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Cuba Moretti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miles North!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Roberts and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moretti lands a nice shot that snaps North's head back.
North lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Moretti backs up against the cage.
North tries to land a front kick but Moretti steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
An inside leg kick lands from North.
Moretti doesn't manage to clinch there - North circles away.
Moretti throws a combination that misses
enabling North to counter with a crisp jab.
Moretti has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Double XX in the buildup to the fight.

A bone on bone clash there as Moretti blocks the leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
North closes the distance and clinches up with Moretti, looking for a takedown. North pushes Moretti against the cage but Moretti circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
North throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Moretti's head.
Moretti is rocked!
North slips a straight right by Moretti.
North scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Moretti throws a hook to the side of North's head but North sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nice shot by North.
Oh Moretti is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
North connects with a solid leg kick.
Moretti tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but North paws at him with a jab and circles away.
North cracks Moretti with a right hand to the side of the head.
North bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Moretti misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
North throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Moretti's jaw, knocking him onto his back! North dives in looking to finish as Moretti flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block North's strikes! North is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Moretti's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Moretti was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miles North!
An out of breath Miles North thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
