Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rama Arjuna (ranked 53 p4p, 9 weight class) and Cleon Wright (ranked 256 p4p, 35 weight class). Arjuna comes to the cage accompanied by Om. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arjuna on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Wright throws a good cross that connects.
Wright ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Arjuna moves away.

Wright throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Arjuna on the side of the head.

It looked like Arjuna was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wright.
Wright dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Wright lands a nice leg kick that just misses Arjuna's sensitive parts.

Wright is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Arjuna.

Wright swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Arjuna fires out a quick counter leg kick but Wright just manages to avoid it.

Wright throws a front kick aimed at Arjuna's knee but Arjuna avoids it well.
Arjuna throws a big counter combination but Wright scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Arjuna's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Wright connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Arjuna scrambles back to his feet.

A looping hook to the body misses from Wright. Arjuna does a little dance to reset his feet.
Arjuna moves forwards but Wright connects with a nice, crisp jab.
We've been told by Arjuna's head coaches at Broken Halo's -Temple of Illumination that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wright is looking to slow Arjuna down with leg kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nice uppercut lands for Wright. That snapped Arjuna's head back.

Arjuna moves away from the strike by Wright.
Arjuna is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Cleon Wright seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Wright has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Wright buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Arjuna has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Arjuna ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

and Arjuna counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Wright has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
