The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dude closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Horn to the mat! Horn manages to get full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dude accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dude tries to free his leg and advance position but Horn is retaining full guard.
Horn looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dude is one step ahead there.

Horn walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Horn enables Dude to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Horn manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Horn is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dude is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Horn to the mat. Horn regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Horn is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Dude dives into side control.
