Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Corwin Valentine (ranked 1606 p4p, 204 weight class) and Alexander Hamilton (ranked 4500 p4p, 442 weight class). Valentine comes to the cage accompanied by I'm the Man. Hamilton has chosen Alexander Hamilton as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Corwin Valentine! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alexander Hamilton! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valentine tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hamilton swats him away and circles back towards the center. Valentine tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hamilton defends well and Valentine ends up having to push Hamilton into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Hamilton moves into the clinch. Valentine throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Valentine takes a shot to the head. Valentine throws a knee to the head but misses.
Valentine is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hamilton is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Valentine to the mat. Valentine regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Hamilton stops Valentine from standing up. Hamilton gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Valentine tries to clinch but Hamilton moves away and Hamilton decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Valentine's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Valentine wants to hit a switch here but Hamilton passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Valentine there! Valentine tries to get back to half guard but can't. Valentine wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hamilton.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hamilton working Valentine over with strikes here. Hamilton has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Hardpunch (13 Elite / 1000$. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Hamilton trying to control but he's not successful this time. Hamilton might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Valentine haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Valentine really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Hamilton throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Valentine has his hands clasped together but Hamilton breaks the hold and Valentine is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Hamilton!
