The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Hunt throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Kuznetcov connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hunt's hands.

It looks like Matt Hunt has been cut.
Kuznetcov throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Hunt replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Kuznetcov blocks it well.
Kuznetcov throws a jab but it's blocked by Hunt.
Hunt steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Hunt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kuznetcov attempts a counter takedown but Hunt avoids it well and moves away.
Hunt lands a jab to the head.
Kuznetcov throws out a loose jab but Hunt uses good head movement to avoid it.

Hunt takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Kuznetcov throws a jab but it's blocked by Hunt.
Kuznetcov steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Hunt. That one must have hurt.

and Kuznetcov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That has opened up Matt Hunt's cut even more.

and Hunt counters with a nice low kick that buckles Kuznetcov's knee momentarily.

Kuznetcov throws an overhand right that lands on Hunt's shoulder, as Hunt tries to avoid the shot.

Nice sprawl there from Hunt as Kuznetcov shoots in.
A little jabbing left from Hunt on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrey Kuznetcov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

enabling Hunt to counter with a crisp jab.

Kuznetcov changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
We've been informed that Hunt has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Hunt thuds his shin into the meat of Kuznetcov's side.
Hunt throws a leg kick which misses Kuznetcov's front leg but catches the back leg as Kuznetcov tries to avoid it.
Kuznetcov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hunt pinned against the cage. Hunt gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hunt explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

The fighters circle momentarily. Hunt darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Kuznetcov misses with a right hand

and Hunt counters with a crisp right hand that drops Kuznetcov! Hunt lets Kuznetcov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Hunt tries to score with a low kick but Kuznetcov moves his leg out of the way.

Hunt sends Kuznetcov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hunt is motioning to the referee to let Kuznetcov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Kuznetcov gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Hunt points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Kuznetcov wakes up just in time to hear Hunt thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
