Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jacks Sole (ranked 219 p4p, 28 weight class) and Constantine Kermit (ranked 408 p4p, 64 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
28 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacks Sole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, Constantine Kermit! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sole misses with a body shot.
Sole is looking to slow Kermit down with leg kicks. A jab from Sole does it's job there. Kermit has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sole. Kermit throws out a loose jab but Sole uses good head movement to avoid it. Kermit throws a hook but Sole blocks it. That kick from Sole tenderised Kermit's leg. Kermit is trying to keep his angry face on. Kermit defending well as Sole loads up on a big left hand. Sole throws a push kick but Kermit slaps the foot to one side. Sole looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kermit takes a swing at Sole's ribcage but misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A punch combination from Kermit misses. A big left from Kermit misses. Kermit tried to score with a low kick but Sole checks it. Kermit ducks right into an uppercut from Sole. Sole with a body punch. A glancing blow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kermit throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kermit fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. A big left from Sole misses. Kermit tried to score with a low kick but Sole checks it. It looked like Sole wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. We've been informed that Kermit has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Sole uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kermit. Sole closes the distance and pushes Kermit back into the cage. Sole has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kermit is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Kermit tries to throw a body punch but Sole avoids it by throwing Kermit back against the cage. Kermit throws a head punch that misses. Sole breaks the clinch.
Kermit ducks under a wild hook from Sole. A little jabbing left from Kermit on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Sole fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Sole lands with a thumping leg kick.
Decent striking displayed by Sole there. Sole misses with an uppercut. Kermit saw that one coming. The fighters circling - Kermit throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Kermit moves out of range of the leg kick from Sole.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kermit attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Kermit moves out of range of the strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Sole cracks the inside of Kermit's front leg. Kermit lands a lovely overhand right. Sole fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kermit to the ground. Sole is now in Kermit's guard. Sole engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Sole stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kermit swivels though and keeps the full guard. Kermit being controlled here, momentarily. Sole has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kermit tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sole is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Sole wants to control from the top but Kermit keeps moving. Sole pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kermit is keeping the position for now.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Jacks Sole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kermit lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sole will feel that in the morning. Kermit loads up on a big right hand but Sole slips the punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kermit misses with a looping right. Sole looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Sole throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kermit on the side of the head. Sole avoids the body shot from Kermit.
Sole tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kermit lands a big head kick that sends Sole tumbling to the mat! Kermit takes a step backwards and waves Sole back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Jacks Sole has been cut. Constantine Kermit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kermit throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kermit scores with a decent looking hook. Sole throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kermit. Kermit throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sole misses with a leg kick and Kermit counters with a nice body shot. Sole throws a hook but Kermit blocks it. Sole tries to work over Kermit's front leg with a kick but Kermit checks it. Kermit looks to land a right hand but Sole moved out of range. Sole was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. A chopping leg kick lands by Sole. A solid leg kick lands there for Sole.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Constantine Kermit will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jacks Sole's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Sole lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Kermit takes one to the chin there. Kermit scores with a jab to the head.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sole. Kermit does a little dance to reset his feet. Sole throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Constantine Kermit seems to be getting the better of the standup. Kermit swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kermit staying out of range there. Sole looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Sole keeps Kermit at a distance using the push kick. A leg kick checked by Kermit. Kermit looks like he wants to counter punch here. Kermit defending well as Sole loads up on a big left hand. Sole lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kermit's sensitive parts. Kermit blocks a jab. Kermit is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Sole. Sole misses with a low kick. Kermit looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Kermit lands a really nice looking cross but Sole seems unphased.
Sole connects with a crisp jab. Kermit's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Sole uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kermit. Sole swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Kermit counter with a right hand. Sole shoots in and drives through. Kermit sprawls well. Kermit swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Kermit works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Sole feints and then cracks Kermit's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kermit down. This has been an exciting period of action! Sole swings widly with a right hand
and Kermit counters with a big right hand! Oh Sole is in trouble here! Kermit follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Constantine Kermit! A relieved looking Constantine Kermit thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
